“Santa Adriana ponte linda” permitió mejorar espacios públicos del barrio

Muy satisfechos se mostraron los vecinos y vecinas que asistieron a la actividad “Santa Adriana Ponte Linda”, organizada por el Programa de Recuperación de barrios “Quiero Mi Barrio” del Ministerio de Vivienda y Urbanismo (Minvu) junto a la Municipalidad de Lo Espejo.

La actividad consistió en la limpieza, plantación y pintura de sectores de la Avenida Lo Ovalle, principal arteria de circulación del emblemático barrio Población Santa Adriana.

Así, las familias y los equipos de Quiero Mi Barrio se distribuyeron a lo largo de esta avenida para el retiro de basura, escombros y también para efectuar trabajos de paisajismo, arborización y pintura de las soleras de los pasajes.

Tras esta actividad, los vecinos y vecinas se reunieron para construir participativamente la Agenda Futura del barrio, que consiste en proyectar los distintos proyectos a desarrollar a la retirada del programa, el cual termina su trabajo este 2016 tras diez años de mejoramiento físico y social en el sector.

El objetivo de estas actividades es que la comunidad del barrio proyecte la sostenibilidad de las obras y el trabajo desarrollado a lo largo de todo este tiempo, con el fin de continuar con el trabajo comunitario y lograr articular inversiones privadas y públicas que les permitan seguir desarrollando los proyectos del Plan Maestro de su barrio.

Así, los vecinos cumplirán uno de los objetivos del “Quiero Mi Barrio”, que es proyectar y continuar el mejoramiento barrial, tanto en el cuidado de las obras como en la necesidad de formular y financiar nuevas inversiones, a partir del liderazgo de las propias organizaciones sociales del barrio.
